Fairy tale adaptation: “Little Red Riding Hood”
This was a final project of the Visual Development 1 class. The topic of this assignment was to develop a production painting from a fairy tale. I chose Little Red Riding Hood but added some twists to it. This version is set in Thailand, which is my homeland.
Because of that, the girl probably didn’t need the hood anymore because it’s in a tropical region. And for the wolf, I made him a forest ghost, because Asian beliefs usually relate to spiritual creatures.

This is the scene where the girl is enjoying the beauty of nature, forgetting that she should be heading to her grandma’s house.
